“Enter a living, breathing forest with changing weather patterns, plants that grow and die. Tides that roll in and out with the day/night cycle. Below ground explore a vast network of caves and underground lakes.”
The Forest looks like everything I could possibly want from a survival horror. Searching for food and farming your own in an open-world forest, a day night cycle that actually matters for more reasons than just making things harder to see, the ability to build a home to defend it with weapons and traps that you construct and the ability to collect resources, much like Minecraft but… with less tree punching.
“Defend yourself against a clan of genetic mutant enemies that have beliefs, families and morals and that appear almost human”
The game is made by the studio SKS Games. Their only previous title is the ipad game EndNight, But from what we have seen so far, they seem pretty capable.
